This tour is perfect for beginners and an especially enjoyable experience for the whole family. The sled used on this tour can comfortably accommodate up to two adults and two children, allowing everyone to share the adventure together.

Your sled dog adventure begins directly at our Taikuri Farm in Bakvattnet, where each sled is pulled by a team of 10–14 powerful huskies. After just a few hundred metres, you glide onto the thick, reliable ice of Lake Stor Bakvattnet, which stretches over 7 kilometres.

From here, you enjoy wide, open views across the frozen lake, dotted with picturesque little islands and surrounded by forested shores. On clear days, a stunning panorama opens up, with Ansätten Mountain rising above the village in the distance. After completing a large loop across the lake, you return to the farm.

Back at Taikuri Farm, the dogs are rewarded with a small meal and plenty of well-deserved cuddles. To round off the experience, you warm up by the fireplace and enjoy a traditional Swedish fika with coffee, tea, and pastries.
